I've gone to a lot of career expos, but they've never effected me before. They've just been an opportunity to get free stuff. But the expo on Friday actually affected me.
I always wanted to have a career having to do with law. I wanted to be a legal secretary up to Friday. At the expo I met a lady from a law office. She talked about legal secretaries, lawyers, and, something I had never thought about, private investigating. I had never even considered it before, but I found that it really interests me. I changed my mind completely, and now want to be a private investigator. I think it's a fascinating career. I believe I'll enjoy this career much more than I would have liked being a legal secretary.

You want to be a private investigator now? Interesting how much this career event impacted you. Grace's dad is a PI, you could talk to him about it.
I've already talked to him, thanks to the InterAct trip to the documentary film on Katrina. He says it pays well, and they get hired by local citizens, companies, and sometimes the government. One of his most common investigations is finding significant others with their other significant others. I thought that was kind of funny.
