Spurlock's 30 Days

In the episode done by Spurlock about minimum wage he proves that it's next to impossible to live a decent life on minimum wage. He and his fiancee struggle to get by. They had to go to the hospital a couple times and couldn't pay off the ridiculous fees charged by the emergency rooms. They had a hard enough time getting by before the hospital bills.
When they took Spurlock's brother's kids they spent a lot. I think they spent more than was necessary on the kids but it would be much harder for a person living on minimum wage who had kids. They would have to pay for diapers, food, entertainment, and someone to watch the kids while they work.
They had to constantly work and didn't get time off without worrying about getting money or not spending money on anything that wasn't completely necessary. They showed people a glimpse at how hard those living on minimum wage's lives are.

I agree, this did show that to live on minnimum wage or even 2 minnimum wages is possible, but to do it and live healthily and comfertably is impossible.

I kinda feel the same way about that movie. To me I think it is so truthful it feels like propaganda, but it is so eye opening. Just like Super-Size me. Who reallized what it does to you, not only over the long time, but even after just a few days. His documentaries are always very interesting.
